Broad-Spectrum CBD

EZlief's Broad-Spectrum CBD is rich in CBD concentration, contains less than 0.3% THC and has many therapeutic benefits in treating certain conditions, due to its anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and anti-psychotic effects.
1What is CBD?
CBD or Cannabidiol is found in the Cannabis Sativa plant (Marijuana or Hemp). If derived from the Hemp plant, CBD is a non-psychoactive and non-addictive compound and carries many therapeutic benefits in treating common ailments such as anxiety, stress, joint inflammation, insomnia, etc.
2What is THC?
THC or Tetrahydrocannabinol is found prominently in the Marijuana plant. Unlike CBD, it is a psychoactive substance and has the ability to affect user’s state of mind and behaviors, or more commonly known as the “high” effect.
3How does CBD work?
CBD interacts with the human’s Endocannabinoid System (ECS) to stimulate stress, anxiety and pain relief. CBD has been viewed to support the mind and body in many ways, as it helps maintaining overall health and wellness, with no psychoactive effects.
4What are the health benefits of using CBD?
Numerous studies and preliminary researches have reported on the therapeutic effects of CBD:
• Alleviate stress, anxiety and depression;
• Anti-inflammatory effects;
• Pain relief & management;
• Immunomodulatory effects;
• Neuro-protective properties;
• Relieve sleep disorders;
• Manage epilepsy symptoms;
• Promote brain & heart health;
• Relieve migraines & headaches;
• Anti-oxidant properties;
• Treat certain skin conditions (acne, redness…).
5What is the Endocannabinoid System?
Endocannabinoid System or ECS regulates the internal homeostasis within our body and include 2 receptors – CB1 and CB2. CB1 can be found in the nervous system, organs, glands, and connective tissue. CB2 can be found in the immune system and affect our overall functioning health.
6How does CBD interact with your Endocannabinoid System?
CBD interacts with the ECS’s receptors and stimulates the body to produce more endogenous cannabinoids, which in turn activates many neuro-protective properties.
7What is in your CBD oil?
Due to its bioavailability characteristics, CBD works more effectively and absorbs better into human’s body when combining with another fat-based substance such as MCT oil (coconut), hempseed, avocado, ghee, olive, grapeseed, etc. Out of these oils, MCT oil is the best carrier to be combined with CBD, because of its easy to digest and absorb attributes. MCT oil also preserves more CBD after the extraction process.
8Can CBD get you high?
THC is the one that contributes to the “high” effect, CBD is not. CBD extracted from Hemp plants will typically contain only a trace amount of THC (<0.3%) and won’t be enough to induce users to experience the euphoric effect. The feeling associated with CBD usage is better classified as calm, relax, rather than high. On the other hand, Marijuana-derived CBD products with a high level of THC (0.3% and above) will cause intoxication and are still considered to be illegal on the Federal level.
9Is CBD legal?
After the 2018 Farm Bill was signed into law in December 2018, Industrial Hemp has been removed from the Federal Controlled Substance list and is now classified as an agricultural commodity. As a result, CBD oil that is extracted from Industrial Hemp is deemed legal to purchase, ship and consume in all 50 U.S States.
10Will CBD show up as positive on a drug test?
CBD can be made from both Hemp and Marijuana. If derived from hemp, it’s unlikely to result in a positive drug test, due to low THC level (< 0.3%). However, Marijuana-derived CBD will most likely result in a positive test, because it contains a higher concentration of THC. High doses and usage frequency can also lead to a positive test when there’s enough THC present in the human body.

The key is to only consume reliable and high quality hemp-derived CBD products, and always take time to evaluate before buying (check the COA reports, type of cannabis plants it’s being harvested from, and the refinement technology) will reduce your risk of getting a positive test result.
11What is the difference between Marijuana and Hemp?
Hemp plants contain less than 0.3% THC, it’s non-intoxicate and can be manufactured for many health and industrial purposes.

Marijuana plants contain more than 0.3% THC, it can cause psychoactive effects on users and still consider illegal in many U.S. States.
12What is the difference between Hemp Oil and CBD Oil?
CBD oil is extracted from the leaves, stems, and stalks of the Hemp plant; while Hemp oil is extracted from hemp seeds by cold pressing and usually does not contain CBD. Both contains nutritional values but CBD has been viewed higher than the other alternatives due to its neuro-protective properties.
13What are different ways to consume CBD?
CBD can be consumed through ingestion (Tinctures), edibles (Gummies, Gums, Lollipops, Snacks, Beverages…), topicals (Salves, Creams, Roll-ons, Healing Oils), inhalation (Vape Liquid), cosmeceuticals (Face Mask, Foot Mask, Face Cream, Face Serum…).
14What is the right dosage to consume CBD?
Every person is different and there’s no right dosage suggestion for everyone. The ultimate guide is to start at a low serving and gradually increase your tolerance to arrive at a desired effect.
